We're Here!

It's Erin this time, and it's almost 1AM in Nice. The second night is difficult to sleep because my body isn't 100% used to the time change. I had ZERO minutes of sleep on the flights over, so going 25 hours on no sleep makes the first night easy.
[Curious side note: I made meatballs for a snack on the trip over and I left them in my carry on, so now my things reek of turkey and garlic! Fun!]
Well, we had a great introduction to the Riviera with a party last night on the Blue Beach. It was simple with champagne and appetizers, but the beach was gorgeous! I've never seen an ocean as blue as the one here. It's beyond description, really... truly spectacular.
Before pictures, lemme enlighten you to a few things:
Things that are different:
- the toilet paper is pink
- there's a shortage of trash cans
- people are generally "all up in your business" as far as personal space goes
- AC is not standard
- fruit grows next to highways
- models have flaws (!)
Things that are the same:
- Sprite
- Oreos
